Tena Kotou Katoa, Talofa, MauriGreetings to our school families,

The Great Snells Trail Saturday 14 November

Our focus now is on our main fundraising event of the year – The Great Snells Trail.  At school on Saturday 14th November, we will be having a major art exhibition/arts festival and craft stalls, as well as food and entertainment.  This will run from 10am – 2pm.  ALL children will be performing dance items with their class, courtesy of the teaching from Talbot School of Dance. Please see the performance timetable below so you know when your child will be performing.

The art exhibition will be spectacular, with some wonderful work having been produced by our young artists.  All of these will be up for silent auction on Saturday.  If you want to be sure to own one of your child’s artworks, we invite you to join us on Friday evening for the Art Exhibition Opening (adults only).  The details of this are below.  If you purchase your child’s art on this evening, a SOLD sign will go on it and it will not be up for auction on Saturday.  Minimum prices are $10.

GARAGE SALES IN THE COMMUNITY 7am – 10am

Prior to 10am, there will be Garage Sales on the Trail around Snells Beach and Algies Bay.  We are still inviting people to register and book a place on the Trail.  If you are interested, please ring Marissa on 021 0254 2075 OR 425 6860. If you are looking for bargains, don’t forget to pick up a map and have a look around before heading to the school for food and entertainment and to pick up an art work or two.

CRAFT STALLS AT SCHOOL 10am – 2pm

We are still inviting people to register and book a stall for their craft as well.  If you have interesting craft items to sell, or know someone else who does, please ring Marissa on 021 0254 2075 OR 425 6860 to book a place.

RAFFLES

There will be some super raffles available on the day – another way to pick up a bargain!

Next week (2-6 November) we  are collecting Toiletries & Cleaning/Bathroom Products items to make up raffle baskets for The Great Snells Trail. Any bathroom items or toiletries would be greatly appreciated. Please send these to school with your child or bring them to the hall before school, and leave them on the raffle table just inside the door to the right. Thank you!

ART EXHIBITION OPENING

The Art Exhibition will have a grand opening Wine & Cheese  night on Friday 13 November from 6-8 pm. Tickets are available at the office for $10 each, entitling you to a glass of wine on entry, nibbles and the chance to be the first to choose your art works. Adults only. All art work will be available for outright sale. On Saturday 14 November the remaining art work not sold will be available using  a silent auction process. See you there!
