Literacy
• Snells Beach School believes in print rich classroom environments where students are exposed to a variety of reading & writing material, sources and authors.
Teacher modelling and group instruction is a feature of the instructional programme in both reading & writing.
Creativity is celebrated!
Numeracy
All teachers at Snells Beach School are trained practitioners of the Numeracy Project, placing value on developing children's use of strategy as well as extending their knowledge base when learning about numeracy & algebra.
Strand learning in aeas such as Statistics, Geometry and Measurement take place in context, in real-life situations, as part of our inquiry focus.
