Rationale for the Adoption of a School Uniform We believe a smart and attractive school uniform:

	Engenders a sense of pride in the school. Children who feel proud of their school and their uniform walk tall in the community; Allows children to be easily identified as Snells Beach School children. This is a safety factor for school trips and activities outside the school grounds and also in cases where children may need assistance or find themselves in unsafe situations; Is cost effective for parents. Our uniform is reasonably priced and we have gone to great lengths to ensure it is of good quality. Many of the items are unisex, so they can be handed down to siblings. We have also made it a "year-round" uniform (there is no summer/winter changeover) so that children will get maximum wear from the uniform during a school year; Does away with "competition" on brand name clothing between students, There is no argument in the morning as to what they should wear!
